Fiji High Commission welcomes applications via expression of interest from university students and recent graduates in undertaking an internship with the High Commission for the period May - October 2017. Applications for this period close on Thursday, 28 April, 2017.
Internships allow university students with an interest in Fiji’s international relations to gain an insight into the work of the High Commission. Every intern has a different set of experiences; our aim is to give you some exposure to all areas of the High Commission’s activities. During your internship, you will be required to assist the Accounting and Protocol section and also provide relevant support to projects and investment facilitation. Internships are unpaid and open to all nationalities. Travel costs, travel and living arrangements are the responsibility of the intern.
We are seeking interns who are undergraduate students, postgraduate students or recent graduates with project management and accounting background.
We do not accept applications from high school students.
Please note that, should your application be successful, you will be required to complete a security check before starting your internship. If you have already applied for the same position there will be no need to re-apply.
We thank all applicants for your interest; however please note that only those applicants short-listed for a telephone-interview will be contacted. Telephone interviews will be held in late May, 2017.
